We Shine at Ashburton!
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We hope everyone has a great summer filled with relaxation, fun adventures, and time with family. We will miss you want you to be ready to come back in late August.
We are busy cleaning, planning and getting ready for the new school year.
Enrollment drives our teacher allocation. If you move into our area, please enroll as soon as possible. There are two ways to register your child(ren):
- Go to the MCPS website to create a ParentVUE account at How to Enroll Your Child - Montgomery County Public Schools, Rockville, MD | Montgomery County Public Schools | Rockville, MD
- Come into the school office with proof documents (proof of birth, birth certificate or passport; proof of residence, lease, property tax bill; an ID from the parent enrolling the student) and immunizations, a health inventory (physical from the doctor), other health forms. We will give you registration forms to fill out.
- If you are waiting for health forms, please go ahead and enroll and get the records to us prior to the start of school. It is important to enroll as soon as you can.
- If you are coming from out of the country, please visit this website International Admissions and Enrollment (IAE) | Montgomery County Public Schools | Rockville, MD Once you have completed paperwork with the International Office, they will send you to us.
If your family moves this summer, please contact us to let us know. We can advise you on what to do or send records to the new school.
We will send out information about the 2025-26 school year in early August. It will include updated bus routes, the MCPS/Ashburton/PTA calendar for the year, information on how to purchase and find out what is available for breakfast and lunch, and other important news.
